  1. Mothers' roles change as we age. Our relationship has changed because we have and this is the test of a true relationship. I respect and appreciate her wisdom and quirky traits. One quirky trait has to do around photos: she is a photo-horde!!! This means that she hordes photos and when you show her a stack, she will secretly squirrel some aside that she wants to keep - you have to keep her eye on her. hehehehehehe!!!

  2. My mother is the best because through all the years there's nothing she's done better than to be a mom. Whether it was to be a part of my school's PTA, to help me raise money for an exchange program to New Zealand, or to always encourage me to realize my goals and ambitions growing up, she's been there every step of the way supporting me. At times when I felt the lowest, I knew my mother would be there with a hug and a smile to brighten up my day. I knew that she would always be there for me, as a best friend to talk to, as a shoulder to cry on, or as a friend to go shopping with. No matter what, I always knew my mom loved me more than anything and that she would always be there. Whether it was being there for my first tattoo (and actually paying for it), watching me graduate from high school and college, going to all of my choir concerts, helping me pick out the perfect dress for school dances, making me birthday cake every year, or watching me walk down the aisle, my mother has truly been the rock that I stand on. After everything that we've been through, marriages, divorce, sharing an apartment, my mother is the strongest person I know. Everything that she has done has been to make sure that my brother and I are happy and healthy. There's nothing my mother wouldn't do for us. My mother deserves the world...because to me, she is the world! I owe everything to my mother for making me the person I am today...and that is something to be very proud of.
